About Me
Growing up I played competitive hockey, and I truly think this has shaped me into the leader and team player I am today. I’m so thankful for having a background in sports. Within university, I studied political science then realized product design pulled together everything I really enjoy: research, systems thinking, and making complicated things make sense.
I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2020 (a whirlwind of a year to start a career 😮💨) and joined an amazing team at the Toronto Star. From there I moved to ecobee, where I stepped into a more senior role and led some big product launches. That’s also when I moved out west to Vancouver and went fully remote.
Now I’m the founding designer at Menaia. When I joined, the company didn’t even have a name yet. Today I work with people all over the world, and I get to shape the product and design culture from the ground up.
Outside of work you’ll find me skiing (I head up to Whistler whenever I’m able to), playing hockey, trail running in North Vancouver, and baking an absurd amount of sourdough bread.
